Studio Code ("Studio Code", "we", "us", or "our") builds websites and messaging automation systems for businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit studiocodear.com, submit a form on our site, or message us on WhatsApp or another supported channel. By using our site or contacting us through these channels, you agree to the practices described below.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to studiocodear.com and to the messaging channels we use to communicate with visitors and prospective clients, including WhatsApp. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we may link to, including the platforms operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"), Google, or our hosting provider — those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what our systems collect automatically, and what we receive from the messaging platforms you choose to contact us on.
Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message.
- WhatsApp and chat conversations: your phone number, the display name on your profile, and the content of the messages you send us.
- Email correspondence: your email address and the content of any email you send to our support or business addresses.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 4.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Name, email, phone number, company | Provided by you (form, email, WhatsApp) |
| Message content | Text of inquiries and conversations | Provided by you |
| Technical data | IP address, browser, device type | Collected automatically |
| Usage data | Pages visited, time on site, referrer | Collected automatically (analytics, cookies) |
| Messaging profile data | Display name, profile photo (if public), phone number | Received from WhatsApp / Meta when you message us |
How we use information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes for our web design and automation services.
- To deliver, operate, and support any project or service you engage us for.
- To send you information you have requested, such as pricing, examples of previous work, or project updates.
- To understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve its content and performance.
- To maintain the security of our site and messaging systems, including detecting spam or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
Cookies & tracking technologies
Our site may use cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and, where enabled for advertising, the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors interact with our pages and to measure the performance of our marketing. These technologies may collect data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and general location.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Doing so may affect how parts of the site function. Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed to operate our business:
- Service providers: the infrastructure and software vendors that host our site, store our data, and power our messaging systems (for example, our web hosting provider and email delivery service, and workflow automation software we run on our own servers). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Messaging platforms: when you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted through WhatsApp's infrastructure, which is operated by Meta and governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: if we are required to disclose information to comply with a valid legal request, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.
- Business changes: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this policy.
Meta & WhatsApp data
Studio Code integrates with Meta's messaging platform (WhatsApp) to communicate with prospective and current clients. This section describes, specifically, how data obtained through that integration is treated.
What we collect from Meta/WhatsApp
- The phone number and display name associated with the WhatsApp account that contacts us.
- The content of the messages exchanged in that conversation.
Why we request it
We request this data only to identify who is messaging us and to hold a conversation about our services — never more than what is needed to respond to your inquiry or deliver the service you asked for.
What we do not do
- We do not use Meta/WhatsApp data to discriminate against anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, or any other protected category.
- We do not use it to determine eligibility for housing, employment, credit, insurance, or government benefits.
- We do not use it to build surveillance tools, and we do not sell or license it to third parties.
- We do not combine it with other data sources to build advertising profiles about you without your consent.
Deleting your data
You can request that we delete any data we hold about you that was collected through WhatsApp or any other channel at any time — see Section 8 for how to do this.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy — typically, for the duration of our conversation or engagement with you, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details from it. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
Your rights & choices
Regardless of where you are located, you may ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your information from our systems.
- Opt out of future marketing messages at any time.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including restricted access to our systems and encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL) on our site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our site and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International data transfers
Studio Code is based in Argentina and works with clients internationally, including in the United States. Information you provide to us may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Argentina or in the country where our hosting and service providers operate. By contacting us, you consent to this transfer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
